Here is a glimpse of one of my projects.

For now she will be know as Sphinx.

Maori Memento Mori - Tiki Skull

Meet Tony Rockyhorror.

Tony is decorated with ornate facial tattoos in the Maori tradidion.

His skull appears to float on a bed of simulated lava rock.

The base of the wall sculpture is cast in a translucent resin. When hung in a window or in front of a light source the stones emit a molten glow.

The Inquisitor

The Inquisitor is an adaptation of Baby Grandpa, my primate character. This resin bust has some new hand sculpted features and is finished in a stone texture.

He will be making an appearance at IlluxCon. A fantasy art symposium in Altoona, PA on November 8-11, 2012.

Baby Grandpa -final sculpt

Here is the completed bust of Baby Grandpa, my primate character. After this photo he was promptly coated in a bath of silicone. Getting ready to mold and cast my army!

The name was inspired by a unique reference photo

of a chimp who simultaneously looked juvenile and elderly.

Call of the Tropics

Here is my newest sculpture. It was created for the Call of the Tropics of Tiki art festival July 6-21 in Dayton, Ohio. callofthetropics.com

This piece, along with the art of many other great artists, will be on display at the Color of Energy Gallery.

I've taken inspiration form Tā Moko (traditional Maori facial tattoos) and sculpted them onto one of my skull designs. Also, the tongue sticking out is a sign of intimidation to the enemy.
